Winter in a Seaside Town {Adventures with my Lensbaby}

I was lucky enough to have a few lovely days break in North Devon between Christmas & New Year.    A perfect opportunity to properly get to grips with my new Lensbaby.    I’m just a little bit in love with the ‘fake’ tilt shift look!

Ilfracombe was an interesting town to visit ‘out of season’.  I have to admit to being a little shocked by Damien Hirst’s 66Ft bronze statue, Verity, facing out to sea.  For me it just doesn’t sit well with the image of the classic picture postcard seaside town & fishing port.  But I guess that’s what this kind of art is all about.  It challenges our thinking.
